Well, things have been going pretty darn well for ol' mikeyboy in the past bunch of months.
I'm no longer an unsociable weirdo with no friends, staying in every night posting on the bbs.
I now have a large group of friends, a nice girlfriend and I'm generally a happy person.
Still no job, but it's a start :P
Anyway, i'll just jump right ahead to the purpose of this blog.
For all this time when I had no friends that I've made close bonds with a lot of people from this website.
I always had this feeling in the back of my head that they're all just substituting my real friends.
This is actually false.
Through Newgrounds, I've met some fucking amazing people, and I consider all of my NG buddies as real friends, just as much as the guys I hang out with every day. Distance will never get in the way of our friendship, because they are all incredibly special to me.
Some of you have talked me through some really rough times and I've done the same for you.
It's crazy to think that a bunch of people I've never even met could have such a great effect on my life.
And every effect has been for the better, and for that I thank you. If it wasn't for Newgrounds, there's no doubt that I wouldn't be the person I am today.
The only problem is that I'll never get to meet the majority of you. I've been Lucky enough to meet both Sam and Lucy, who are some of my very best friends here. But I'm never going to be able to meet most of you. The more I think about it, the sadder it makes me.
